News from Vietnam tour #4 – 21st July, 2014
Dear Yogis,
There is a place rare and beautiful. Its physical environment includes some of the natural wonders of the Earth. The Yogis as Our Mother’s children are amongst the true natural wonders of this world. They are of such rare and unique quality that the word that most flows from the heart when one is privileged to spend time in their company is : auspicious. That place is Vietnam.
It is hard when writing words on a page to capture the essence of this special place and Yogis, and what we have felt on Tour. What we have experienced in their company. Perhaps their beauty and uniqueness is best expressed that through them we most experience the uplifting, life affirming revelatory flow of Our Mother’s love. That through these experience we come to love each other, and better love ourselves. That we want to try to become better people, truer Yogis.
In our lives, when we live those moments when one knows and feels Our Mother’s love. We are almost taken aback. In a way surprised by the joy. For its rare and beautiful quality never fails to reverberate within every cell of our being giving our life renewed meaning. When compared to some of what is occurring in Sahaja Yoga today. The contrast could not be more real or compelling. The unreal looks illusory and false when one experiences the reality of God’s love upon the Earth.
Sahaja Yoga is an expression of one of Shri Mataji’s visions for creation.
A joyous, enlightening movement of realised souls, loving, living and supporting each other every day. When we felt this. While we lived and travelled with the collective over the last two weeks. It fills one with renewed hope that Her vision shall not perish upon this Earth. Shri Mataji will find the right place and Yogis capable of rising above their human nature to become Sahaj spiritual beings. This is one of those places.
‘They live and act not in the mind, but within the joy of the present’
This is a young collective, with the majority under thirty years of age. But while they are young in years, the depth of their society and culture has helped to create a Sahaja Yoga rarely seen.
Their faces are as animated as are their lives. Shining with the spiritual joy expressed from a pure heart, and from a mind filled with the dedication and purpose to follow Shri Mataji’s Will.
They are living within the realms of the highest truths of Sahaja Yoga. They live and act not in the mind, but within the joy of the present. They are making real upon the Earth Our Mother’s vision that enlightened spiritual humanity shall not diminish. And will flourish upon the Earth.
The last major program on Tour was held at the Crowne Plaza in Hanoi. The venue was both spacious and beautiful seating close to 500 people. The arrangements were all undertaken largely by the Hanoi Yuva Shakti. It was a most impressive program.
Vietnam TV was on hand to conduct interviews and to record and broadcast the program. Commendations to the Hanoi Yuvas. It was a program organised to the highest professional level. Providing a public stage upon which to offer Sahaja Yoga as we all would offer Shri Mataji. Coming from Western backgrounds witnessing the majority of those attending the program rushing from their seats to the front before the stage, dancing together. Hands raised to the sky. Moving to the rhythms of the music.
It’s a sight we never tire of seeing. In our home countries we encounter much more restrained seekers. Less free in their appreciation and responses. Less responsive to the joys of the spirit Sahaj music conveys.
Then Self Realisation was offered, a deep meditation then followed. The program ending as it had commenced, joy and dancing, Mother’s love filling all the hearts and minds. The Yogis, Western and local, Yuvas and new seekers all joined as one dancing and sharing the moment. Those memories of the seekers of Vietnam their shining animate faces, filled with the glow of Our Mothers love is something that will live long with us all.
From the Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta in the south. To Ha Long Bay and Hanoi in the north. Five Public Program, two Pujas, a Havan, and hours spent on the road travelling with brothers and sisters.
‘Some dreamed they saw Our Mother’
We bow and thank Our Mother whose loving embrace and presence was felt every step of the way. Some dreamed they saw Our Mother seated on the front seat of our bus as we journeyed through Vietnam. Others dreamed of seeing Her seated at the last row of the Hall at the Public Programs laughing and enjoying the program. Another musician had a vision that Our Mother came into the Hall of the program and Shri Mataji then wrapped everyone present within the loving embrace and folds of Her sari. The Yogi then prayed with the every beat of the music to Shri Matạji offerring to Her at each beat of the music all the challenges which are facing Sahaja Yoga today.
We surrender to the Lotus Feet of Our Mother who is with us always and thank Her for Her unending blessings and unlimited Love.
Jai Shri Mataji!
With love, the touring yogis in Vietnam
